A stretch running a real estate business, selling and managing properties along the way.\nStrip away the job titles and they all reward the same thing: finding what\u0026rsquo;s quietly breaking before it breaks loudly, and fixing it so it stays fixed. But what keeps me in it is the people on the other end — the clinician who can trust the data, the team that ships without the 2 a.m. call. The engineering is the how; making someone\u0026rsquo;s work a little steadier is the why.\nRight now that why has me deep in test automation, where a lot of the interesting problems are. The engineering underneath it, though, is what I actually write about.\nSo this is my little corner of the internet.
